Cherie Hunter Day’s graphics have appeared in a variety of publications including R’r, Bones 6, moongarlic, Mariposa, and previous issues of Otoliths. Her most recent e-chapbook sting medicine features very short poems and full-color graphics and is posted at http://www.bonesjournal.com/books/Cherie_Hunter-Day-sting_medicine.pdf.

Her second full-length collection of haiku, apology moon (Red Moon Press, 2013), received a Touchstone Distinguished Book Award for 2013. Her poems are included in Haiku 21 (Modern Haiku Press, 2011), Haiku in English: The First Hundred Years (W.W. Norton, 2013), and Where the River Goes (Snapshot Press, 2013). She lives in Cupertino, California, USA.
